today was a slightly different day at work. instead of taking calls in the office i went out with a maintenance guy, to repair tv and internet connections :) so we took the van, drove to the first place, go in the customer's apartment and the problem was in the antenna socket that he'd had 'upgraded a little' by some guy who's specialty was not electrical and antenna cabling... easily fixed, we'll be sending him a bill. then we go to the next place, etc. it was pretty relaxing and i was with this guy i know a bit, so we had a nice chat. in the afternoon we had some extra time and i got to see the 'head-end', which is a place where all the tv and internet servers and routers are. huge rooms filled with humming machines and tons of cables and blinking lights... "if we disconnect this cable, it'll shut down northern helsinki..." :P suddenly my connection to the world seemed very fragile, it all goes through a little box... anyway, that was cool.

i just had a little nap with my cam. i have been disoriented from photography but want to get back on track. it's obviously a mental thing, so i wondered how to do it. i think that the beginning with my 5D hasn't been the best possible, i mean i get it out of the box and the next day i take it for repair and it was there for a month. so, i felt like we need to get to know each other a bit, before even getting into shooting. like, bonding. so we had a nap together. and i left it in my bed, it's nice and warm there. i'm hoping to make up the month's separation.

5D and me

even i find this unvelievable; i haven't washed clothes since i got back from siberia... i have enough clean ones so i just manage with them... every day i plan to fill the washing maschine and turn it on and every day i miserably fail. lol. "life is."

my backpack lays on the floor unpacked. my backpack from the spain-trip is the same. and the suitcase from austria. it's kinda bulky on the floor. but it's getting slowly unpacked as i need something that is in there, it works like a storage sorta. and what about the cardboard boxes from when i moved back in the apt in 2004? *looks at them*

anyway, a google search for 'digital wonderworld' shows my rant-blog as the #3 result. good. too often reviews or customers experiences get lost somewhere under meaningless 'buy shit free' links. but this company really deserves all the 'attention' it can get from outside...

Båten Anna - eurotechno summer hit '06

Last.fm recommendation radio has still kept playing Sonata Arctica and Stratovarious and co. for me altho it's absolutely not in my taste. i have soon banned all their tracks one by one. however, just a moment ago it played me 'Matti Paalanen'. i opened the window as i liked the song and was like wtf... i know him as a guy who recently started working in my bf's IT company. glad to see he can not only wrote code but songs as well :) i really dig the songs (you can listen to them on the last.fm site).
