i found the 1GB memory card that was lost for a few months. it was under my keyboard. but it's old, microdrive... so it'll only serve as emergency space now.

technology.... ugh. my memory card reader is slightly fucked, so i decide to download images from 5D with the USB cord that came with it. i attach the cam but tadaa! i need software of course. so i go look for the CD. in my 'photo box' i find the plastic package that contains shitloads of manuals, papers, all kinds of useless stuff, and CD's. so i open it and start slipping the CD's in the computer (the names of the CDs are unfortunately not very descriptive of what they're good for). i spend like 15 minutes installing this shit...'photostich'...'movie edit'...(WTF????!!1) and after all this pain i get the 'do you want to install your computer now or later?'. that's probably my #1 most hated question by the computer. okay, i need my photos so let's fuckin restart. while it's restarting, i decide to throw some of the useless papers away that were in the cam package. looking at the cover paper i wonder why it reads 'canon digital ixus 500'. not funny. well, i then find the eos 5D package...open it and find the CDs. and when te computer is up and running i start another installation-round. not only is it fuckin slow but a retarded install wizard as well. aaaand let's restart again!

i'm now downloading the photos on my computer but my initial excitement in seeing them is pretty much smashed.

have u noticed that mormons are much better looking than other cult members? i mean specifically the guys, i dunno about the gals. weird! they're nice ppl.

to continue on the photos... after restart i somehow manage to get the photos on the computer. my capture one won't read them, i seem to have some kind of fucked up trial version that won't open 5D photos (altho it's the most recent version). christ, since when? i don't have a keygen for v.3.74.... i spent 10minutes on this shit. next, PS won't open them either, am i missing some kind of a plugin, i used to be able to open RAW's with PS, or to convert them. PS is really unclear so i have to forget about the plugin. i find in my files something called a 'rawshooter'. i check online and it ought abe decent. i install it. it won't work before registration and the registration fails. i go online to search for help. i find a rawshooter 2006 premium version. install. woops, won't work since my rawshooter was 2005 tho! okay so i go and download and install rawshooter 2006. registration now works, must've been that they don't support the previous verion and hey why would they, it's already a YEAR old!!!! fuckin morons. it's unbelievable but i got it working and opened the photos. i'm wondering if they really worth going through this shit. and i don't even like the interface. i did open the photos in Canon's own 'digital photo professional' software too but that interface sucks ASS! what-EVA!

the portuguese are pissing me off...i'm reconsidering if i should stop listening to moonspell. if the name 'moonspell' appears anywhere where u can comment, they're all over the place "MOONSPELL IS FROM PORTUGAL!!!111" "MOONSPELL IS AWESOME, AND PORTUGUESE!!!". geez. makes me think it's the only band they got. and it probably is, thinking of it. why are these ppl so obsessed with it? no other nationality behaves like this if they see the name of a band from their country. portuguese are special people. i've been listening to moonspell for 10 fuckin years, I KNOW THEY'RE PORTUGUESE, NOW FUCK OFF!
