mac users are so full of shit. i do believe it has it's sides, mac i mean, and that it's great for photographers or for any graphic work. it's the users that make it stink mostly. the thing is, nothing is perfect, especially anything new and technical usually sucks more less, and this goes for mac's too, but the users won't admit it. i shouldn't even get into this, but i will!

u can't get the latest of anything on mac because they only offer tried and tested options, so if you want messenger u'll get v5.5. i think if u want to get fucked with the latest buggy versions, it's your right. second, when u want special programs that are freeware for PC, u run into porblems. either they don't excist for mac or they are not free for mac. u might get a free trial period but after that it will become impossible to use it (unlike PC versions of programs such as winzip or smartFTP). but as a general rule, the program selection is just more narrow for mac. limiting! so these are some facts about mac that mac-users don't want to get into, or they will want to explain these issues with some lame shit that makes them seem superior either way... retarded. i think it's just that after paying so much for a computer u need to convince even yourself that it was worth it....

next, i get pissed on cos i use IE besides firefox. it's one of those elitist things that have become more mainstream but it's kind of a prequisite for being cool, using firefox. if you use IE you're a retard no matter what. let me say they both have their pros and cons. i use them side by side. everyone's going ON and ON about the security issues of IE but since when did u last hear anyone got fucked because of those? exactly my point. of course this doesn't mean that u shouldn't avoid using programs or platforms that are risky, but u can get pretty far with common sense. neither browser satisfies all my needs, obviously. since everyone already knows what's so fuckin awesome about firefox i will point out what sucks in it.

1.the size of the google search bar in the right cannot be adjusted as far as i know. it's always an inch long, altho everything else seems adjustable. why does this matter? because i don't want to type in a tiny fuckin slot, i want to see what i'm typing! and regardless of the reasons, is it so fuckin hard to make it adjustable??
2. when deleting bookmarks, fox closes the bookmarks menu. yet u usually want to go back and continue whatever you were doing... so you open the bookmarks meny again each fuckin time. this is really fuckin inconvenient. and IE favorites doesn't do this.
3. fox opens too slow. period.

i use fox for the stuff i commonly do, browse dA and other fav sites. i have it always open. i have fox-specific bookmarks plus i have imported all my IE bookmarks in fox, they're a separate folder. but mostly i use IE for it's own bookmarks(favorites) and when i need a new window fast, i rather just open IE than a new tab. subjects are better kept separately u see.

below is my fox bookmarks with the IE favorites folder open. i always wonder if others have as much shit saved as me...
