Dexter and Heroes are really hyped by everyone. i rarely seriously dig TV series but i thought i'd give them a try. Kev and i watched the first episodes of both. if i had to follow either one, i'd pick Dexter cos it's, umm, sorta closer to my set of interests, heh. the main character, Dexter, is creepy and nicely antisocial and mean, and does nice killing job, which i give him credit for. nice blood spatters and bodies and stuff, but i didn't get hooked, it was merely okay. kinda like six feet under or desperate housewives. i can watch them but i might as well not. Heroes wasn't exact waste of time either, but it didn't make me cry or laugh or even close. it didn't spur any ideas, the characters weren't interesting enough.

i would've linked to Dexter's original website but Showtime doesn't allow access to its sites outside the US. how friendly of them.

kinda like the Toronto public transit. here's the subway map. good luck trying to figure out where all those stops are. the name of the stop gives usually the name of one street, but not the other. you're just too stupid if u don't know what it is. or a tourist. same thing? also, the tram stops are much like anywhere else in the world...except that they lack any information of...anything. there's no single number or name or anything else near them anywhere. so which trams run through that stop, when, where, how much a trip costs... you're just supposed to instinctively know :) how do you even know its a tram stop? from the rails running by the empty pole! while i think Toronto is very western and nice business-like city, very modern, the public transport thing is...wow. the lack of information is dumbfounding. you just learn the stuff by heart, through trial and error, or you're fucked! for TTC's credit (Toronto Transit Commission) i have to admit, i saw a route map of the subway on the wall of a station the other day. yes, an actual route map. i only had to go to King station, underground, to see it, but it was there indeed. good to know, next time i need any info on the subway i'll just find my way to that station again, because the website is pretty much useless. but who uses the internet anyway...

my tattoo is healing. now there's scab on it and it's still irritated but it's starting to look white.
