did i just have a good time? yes i did :) James was over here and we just chilled out and stuff, canadian style. i am totally relaxed now. life is good. i'm having smirnoff watermelon, there was a lonely bottle in the fridge so i figure i get rid of it.

i'm looking at my older posts and wondering wtf...lotsa meaningles shit. i should concentrate in the interesting stuff only.

yesterday when i went to Toronto i was walking King st to the tattoo studio when KPR is suddenly behind me...he was having lunch in pizza pizza and saw me from the window. but what are the odds? i mean, Toronto is like...i dunno, maybe 5million ppl city, and i happen to walk past him... so we hung out a bit, and he came with me to the tattoo place. i went to the dA admin devmeet later in the evening and it was alright too... not amazingly fun but fine. i kept shooting videos which i'm not sure everyone was comfortable with but its my new thing!

the tattoo came out alright, but actually, i might get something added later on. i haved to let this sink in first and see how i feel about it... there's still blue color in there and its red and stuff...i think it'll take about a week to see how it really looks like. i'm adding a photo at the bottom... it look more pink than white but oh well. the inside of the arm was not a painful spot at all, there was the tingling but it didn't bother me one bit, i could take my mind off it no problem. whereas the tiny heart that i got in february was ...woah, it tickled AND hurt! well, lower back is known to be more sensitive but the difference is crazy. tickling is the worst, because it makes u try to get away from it instinctively, yet u should try stay still...

ealier today i met with Hesi and her bf, we had breakfast in a diner and walked around the city a bit. altho she was at the devmeet yesterday it's different to meet like this, i connect much better with people when one-on-one or so.

KPR and i had a good time last night too, i watched UFC which hes not a fan of, but after that we just talked until like 3 something am... the UFC event sparked a few questions in my mind. as Martin Kampman was fighting Thales Leites, they kept referring to Martin as dutchman... "dutchmen and their thaiboxing" etc... and every now and then they would point out how he did this and that while still living in Denmark. in the official introduction, as in his personal info on the internet, he is said to be a danish citizen. is it just me or have people trouble telling the difference between dutch (nationality) and denmark (country). last time i checked dutch is the nationality of netherlands. but hell, maybe i'm missing something, wouldn't be there first time. also, why is Din pronounced as if it was Dean? and why is Lytle pronounced as if it was Lidle? english tricks. and, i did not agree with the judge's decision on the Lytle vs Serra fight :S like wtf. i saw Thales Leites fight for the first time and while his technique left a lot to be wished for the guy has heart! he totally impressed me :)

i have this beer issue too... whenever i go out with people, the guys have beer. sometimes some girls too. we talk about drinking and i make a point of telling that i don't like beer at all. the beer drinkers will then instantly get interested and promote their choice of beer "well this doesn't taste like beer at all, it's more like soft/fruity/nutty/creamy/whatever!" "this english white soft brewed ale is not like beer at all, oh no, taste it!". and i always taste it, not because i'd believe the bullshit to begin with, but just to settle it for once and for all. it ALWAYS tastes like beer! and i'm thinking...it might be because the drinks in question ARE beer. :) yea. and its the one taste i REALLY hate. makes me wanna puke every time. despite my disgust of the taste, i can tell there are differences, none that make any difference for me, but yea sure beers are different. yet, they still taste like beer. i'd say that the taste of beer is divided as follows:
basic beer taste 80-90%
beer specific flavors 10-20%
the question is, how could a beer drinker claim that the stuff they're drinking does not taste anything like beer, when in fact it does, 80-90% of it. and i mean we can always argue over the numbers but even if my 80-90 was really 30-40... well it's still a pretty distinctive beer taste right there! fuck. beer drinkers are another group of people who i have grown very suspicious of. their judgement and ability to be objective that is. they are like the time and space-handicapped people. the ones that say "oh it's only a 5minute walk from the station" (10-15minute walk) and "it's really near here, like next block or something" (3-5 blocks or a kilometer or more). sad to say most people belong in one of these groups. i can deal with it, i just need to recognize the disability early on.

hmm, i was looking for synonyms for 'glass' in my wordweb dictionary and it suggests meth, methamphetamine and methamphetamine hydrochloride. well, i wasn't looking for those exactly.

i'm thinking of James Blunt's song "High" and i'm like, yea i know exactly what he's talking about :D
