to sum it up, i think i've been kinda unable to function for about 2 months now, or more. there are better days in between but in general i see a pattern here. but that's life. you get what you ask for. i'll need to concentrate on superficial things to feel better, luckily i have a talent in the superficial area. empty movies work well too. and i could read some of the books i bought.
i'm getting credit from friends for advising them in their relationship/dating problems. i feel talented again :)
i had a shower in order to cheer myself up. and...that was one of the best showers of my life. serious. in general i enjoy having a showers quite a lot but this was just ecstatic. everything was so perfect, i used all my favorite products, i exfoliated my skin from top to bottom...nothing really new but it was just awesome. i feel so much better. i had a can of cloudberry cider to accompany me but that was more of an attitude thing, a statement, its far from going to my head.
the guy from the airport called me. i agreed to meet up with him later in the week, but didn't really manage to communicate that i'm not interested in 'that way'. oh well. i'll figure it out somehow.
fuckin iTunes got me really upset, many times. supposedly there are plenty of ways to convert m4p's to mp3's if you want to play them in you winamp for example, but i only found one to work for me. if you're a fuckin coder or a mac expert maybe you can come up with more.
1.open the goddamn iTunes
2.go to the playlist that you want to convert
3. go to edit -> preferences -> advanced -> burning and choose 'audio' as the disc format
4. insert empty CD
5. wait for a CD burn icon to appear in the top right corner, click it. burn CD.
6. after burning, insert CD in computer and copy it, with windows media player for example.
depending, media player might find the disc info online or it might not, either way you now got .wma files which suck ass. unless u use Nero which i think can copy CD's into mp3...but i find the interface too fuckin complicated (and actually, u can use any fuckin program u like, i don't care, u're done after 6., i'm just giving suggestions.) you can convert wma's into mp3's with for example switch. and to tag the files appropriately, you can use musicbrainz tagger. both free programs but again, use whatever the fuck u like. really fuckin slow and unconvenient but that's what its like if you're not willing to be a sheep to mac's hegemony. a friend was able to just right-click on a song in iTunes and use the 'convert to mp3' function, but i get the 'file XXX could not be converted because it is a protected file' error. well what do u know. there's probably a work around it but u need to be mac-brainswashed to know how it works.
why would u use iTunes to begin with? well my advice is that you don't, ever. but, there were a few songs i wanted and that were not available ANYWHERE else. i was willing to fuckin pay for them and the only option was iTunes. what kind of an idiot artist (music label) makes their stuff available only in iTunes?? geez
7. close iTunes
8. uninstall iTunes from your computer
9. pat yourself on the head
