banned

oh i heard São Paulo's banned all outdoor advertizing. how cool is that? because outdoor advertizing IS forced, unlike more traditional media advertizing.

anywhow, Israel's prime court just banned outdoor ad's along Tel Aviv's highways.

i received the christian fundamentalist reply to Dawkins' book "the God Delusion", it is called "the Dawkins Delusion" and the cover slogan goes "atheist fundamentalism and the denial of the divine". so im a fundamentalist? christians were inventive to include that word in their vocabulary, and start using it the other way around its so strong. unfortunately not very effective. while they have the objective given from god to spread the word or faith, i have no such mission. im not going to come to you at the tram stop or at your door because i think you should be saved from something. writing books and blogs is self expression, trying to actively reach individuals and talk them over to join them your club is aggressive. im not one of those ppl who complain about it all the time, because it doesnt bother me much, its rare to come contact with "missionaries"...and in any case i have a lot of understanding for the reasoning. when you believe it is to save your fellow countrymen and people...of course you do it.

its different when people are controlled and manipulated with god's word. when its violent. religion has been used so much to justify racism, discrimination and in the end, violence and killing. its such a handy tool as it assembles a group of people to loyally do whatever you say, as far as you are officially a spokesperson of god. its like managing a heard.
