email surprises

one of my email-providers is turning unreliable... its shoving a lot of good emails in spam folder. it used to work perfect so i was surprised to find a lot of valid stuff there. from friends and all.

one of the emails caught me by a surprise. art exhibition invitation...nothing new there but this is big, and while they pay for room and board during the exhibition, they apply for the country's culture ministry or something for the travel costs, so basically it shouldnt cost me almost anything. they invite 20-25 artists per year from all around the world to discuss in forums, show off the art and offer lectures and masterclasses to viewers for local art schools and stuff. the art exhibition then also travels around the world in a few places. the thing itself is in southern europe. so am i fuckin honored to be invited? err, yea? quite inspiring really. i know i have things inside me and it saddens me that at the moment they stay inside.

i also got a reply from Brian, the guy in Galway. i wrote him asking if we could meet up, on our trip to Dublin we could drop by. i promised to go there one day, apparently a very nice scene and relaxed people so... anyhow Brian welcomed us and im excited :)

and i need to look for a flight to Havana... for the beginning of June. from there to Brazil, i hope, and then back home. i need to work more to get money for all these fuckin trips...

i started working on a tattoo idea again. this time its mermaids swimming in diff directions.
