might have fungus - back off if it smells :)

well umm, after the rent and today's hair removal my bank account is empty. fine, but the visa bill should be deducted from my account in a couple days. need to call them. upsetting :( at least i dont have anything but a little cash to spend on drinking tonight/tomorrow. and i should leave some for food. im rarely this idiotic with $$$$.

found a flight for F from Helsinki to Warsaw, check.
transportation for myself from god knows where to warsaw, no-check

i am waiting for Mark to inform me of his plans, so i'd know where the f*** i'll be on 26th... and could seriously look at the trains and flights... so far i was thinking of Bucharest-Warsaw but that was NOT promising as i recall saying...which reminds me;

someone got veeery upset in turn for me being upset over the expensive flights to/from warsaw;

"Jenni, as I'm reading this, it seems to be that you are a cunt with a fucking fungus! First of all you could do Your homework and check info o transit points, carriers, prices etc. Poles are not greedy... $-) It's those international companies who level up their prices to insane amounts. Secondly, If you'd had a little bit of knowledge about the closest sorrounding You world, than You'd know that many Poles emigrate to old EU for work. That's the reason why all of the low-costs and even normally tariffed airlines are booked with even 6 months handicap.
As for Katowice, wrong place in wrong time.
Maybe, when you'll be in WAW airport, having some spare time you could visit the most interesting parts of Warsaw. Don't worry! The bus, tube and tram are EUR 0.38 p/ride - it's what You are counting on - cheap!!! As for transportation of your fat ass, you could book earlier, that you can make it both for around EUR 215 with return. OMG, I forgot that Warsaw sightseeing is not an option for You Jenni! 'cause you like to spent all your time in a hotel, gaining weight."

hehe, the last one was good :) i do spent quite a lot of time in hotels when i travel... and possibly gain weight! who knows, with all the great local stuff i found in grocery stores and drag in the room...yummy. i figure on holiday i have the time and opportunity to relax and sleep, regardless if im supposed to go out see all the fuckin stuff. i get to see the stuff i want probably... whatever rocks your boat!

i am wondering why this person reads me though, my ignorant teeny style clearly frustrates and adds to her blood pressure... take a sedative is my advice. and stop reading.

i figured local bus etc would be cheap though, but its good to know the price, 0.38, in advance. *writes down in calendar*

there was nothing wrong with Katowice, i do have communication-problems if i sounded like i did... but perhaps it was a case of being on the mission to be offended.

as a tourist, im not going to go any deeper into Poland's economy (for now) than what my reader subjected me to, i am just looking at flights because i want to go from place A to B. the history and politics and math behind prices is unfortunately not very comforting when the price is X. X will not change. i always try to book flights as early as possible, sometimes u just dont know about the plans years ahead! sucks, yes? thats what its like when u travel, and if you need to be financially conscious about it.

anyhow, in warszawa we're hanging out with F's friend, whom he knows from study exchange in Germany some years ago. he is hopefully showing us local stuff like bars and shops (flea markets, whatever, i dont know)... its still not certain how many days we have in the city, but probably around 3. i also put a notice in dA because im hoping to just have a spare minute somewhere to meet yet more people. turns out JimInEuropa lives in Warszawa! heh, did not know/remember that.

and YES i am skipping sights like churches and museums and whatever fuckin important statues there may be around. i am admittedly more interested in everyday life and what the locals have to tell me about their everyday life. might go deeper into economics then, or might not :)

actually, i should concentrate on today rather than something 2 months away. im ahead of myself. life happens when you're.... yup. how about i get dressed and clean up and get ready to go out the door...meet the world.
