yesterday's visit to IKEA was fruitful. have to give credit to swedes.

i decided to buy the damn bed then, altho part of me sees no reason for it. it looks huge, being so high. its probably a normal height bed but compared to the old setting its like woah. sitting by the edge my feet dont quite touch the ground. F said he slept better in the bed than previously 'on the floor'. i cant see what the difference could be really. i slept well too but that was probably thanks to a sleeping pill. i just wanted to fall asleep early enough to then wake up early on. that turned out to be noon, not quite what i had hoped for... what makes the bed interesting though is that now the pieces of mirror i put on the wall yrs ago are at a 'visible' height...


















the bed i had been looking for was originally 79e, and now only 45, so... very simple, just what i wanted. and i finally emptied my suitcase as i wanted to put it under the bed.














as i sold my tv yesterday, the space underneath my table is almost scary. i got this pink box to put some stuff in as well as to serve as a rahi. i am accustomed to having my feet up while i sit by the computer. the STB/digital receiver is waiting for a new home too.













and what about this lovely thing? picked it up yesterday. does it make me a hippie? i think not.
