quick reality-tallinn-reality nightover

Tallinn was alright. one relaxing night, good food, massage, sleep, alcohol and time together. the hotel was an old bank in the center of the old part of town. we had a bottle of sparkling wine and a rose waiting for us in the room.

F had booked us a couples-massage, where we could be together while being massaged. the place was Hedone, just 40meters from the hotel. a private club where u can enjoy wine and jacuzzi after massage. candles and 'romantic' music, err (enigma etc. lets forgive them that). the place was quite fancy and nice, but the massage staff seemed like victims of slavery business, imported russian girls or something. not super motivated. i could detect the massaging techniques and movements, but it was far from effective. then again, i wouldnt want to have a very heavy massage when relaxation is the goal. it felt alright. Hedone offers also erotic soap massage which sounds...like i do not want to try it out. hanging out in the bottom-lit jacuzzi was cute.

we spent wednesday drinking and eating mostly. in the evening we had a dinner at the hotel restaurant, included in the "romantic package". very nice food! and we had the restaurant all to ourselves, wicked, it was fancy. but at the end of it was tired and too drunk.

thursday morning started off with the breakfast to our room. we had a few hours to look around the town and have some drinks before we headed to the harbor. found a supermarket and the famous cheap booze. i just got some liqueur and 80% liquor and such. it is tempting to buy shitloads of bottles when its so cheap, but then you have to think of the priorities...am i going to carry tons of BOOZE from abroad, considering how lazy i am? there was some really cheap cider (24pack for 10e or so) on the boat too...but thats a big pack...and while temporarily it may be cheaper than buying them one by one from the local shops... it might cost me in the end in another way.

anyhow, was a nice trip all in all. photos in flickr.
