summary of blog: i was drunk on mayday
i was at Tiitta's today and left looking like i was battered. i reacted really fast and strong to the kitties, my eyes swelled and blah blah... i looked horrible and felt like it. well, okay ive been there before, but antihistamines did not help much! i kept feeling like i had the flu of the century for hours. i slept a couple hours and im still sneezing. geez. talk about allergic? im beyond :(
this is the art piece i bought from Tiitta. i will put it on my wall in a visible place, to serve as a reminder.
F reminded me to check for photos on my camera. it was definitely the worst set of drunk-photos of myself ive ever seen. and no recollection of them of course, it was just a horrible collection of stereotype drunken photos that i did not know existed and which i felt embarrassing seeing. seems like Arttu took most of them. im thinking i should print little stickers of some of them that i could put on booze bottles, if i buy any for a while...
i had a good may day, the photos brought me down a little. and the phone-call to ex. superbly stupid. but. time for pictures. unfortunately i dont have enough balls to show any of the 200 embarrassing ones.
wednesday evening. i think in the end there was 8 of us, 4 couples. there were 2 people we hadnt previously met, the guy teaches communication (art history, chromatics...) in a school near Helsinki and his gf is a visualist in a finnish brand design store, i think shes studied arts.
lets look more closely what we got here. veggies with a dip, tortilla chips, punch, strawberries, sugared ball-shape donuts... Jukkapoika and Meeri really pampered us.
thursday. some 50 000 ppl celebrating mayday traditionally. the city was so jammed because of this, it was so hard to get there... now that ive seen it i think i dont need to do this again. of course eventually when we found Jukkapoika and Meeri and their 'camp' and settled down the party mood caught up on us, but nevertheless i think there are easuer ways to get a party going...
our picnic camp. lotsa salads and other goodies to eat. the weather was great, 20C or something like that. we met a theatre lights repairman and his gf, radio program host/producer. ive never heard her, as far as i know, but knowing the station i think everyone else has. but shes not on the air anymore, only producing. she recommended me a certain program from their station and i intend to check it out. i actually asked for a recommendation, i generally dislike radio shows and wanted to give it a chance, with her help.
in the bar. ive been just all over the place with the camera. there are photos of me and miss R in the toilet?!
a blog of cool photos - me recommends
