fiction rash

gah... i want money for the new tattoo. i should keep my eyes open for a photography job i guess, to make extra. not that i have my tattoo design ready but i think i can finish it when needed, i think about it occasionally.

Mark invited me to join an exhibition of some sort in Berlin in the beginning of September. but its 200 to fly there now, id need a sponsor and all. wont happen i gather. i have that Portugal-thing in September anyways. but i suggested i just got for fun early next year, Air Berlin offers flights for 29e/direction. ive been to Berlin twice, but its been a while and i like it much...

id seen the word technorati here and there but just woke up to it when Marianne blogged about it. well it just includes a huge blog directory... so im thinking of trying to find cool blogs through it, but im not convinced yet if i find it useful. we have a similar thing for finnish blogs and i occasionally check it out when i want something new to read.

i allowed myself to buy a new book online...i actually attempted to read it some time ago, Chuck Palahniuk's Choke. i wondered if it was aproblem in my head when i felt the language was stiff (it was translated to finnish...) and odd to read, but i later read, and im not surprised, that his work is very hard to translate well. it relies so much on the original language... anyway so i didnt read more than a dozen pages. but i really felt like i might like it in english. with english there is the problem of not understanding everything... but i gather that it cant hurt to try, plus any method to keep the language skills i have alive should be supported by all means possible.

anyway, waiting for the visa bill...

id really like to find fiction that i enjoy reading, but i might be too far off allergic to it to change my mind anymore... just the thought of fiction makes my face go awry, so its hard to be objective. where to start? just a few more lines of fiction i dont like will only make it worse.
