momentary happiness from shopping - again. now i will stay away from shops for a while again.
black sneakers with a metallic shine. im trying to put more effort into black again. which is hard to believe now that i look at the other stuff i got.
white shirt with a ruffle neck and a pink "dress"(?), with teapot patterns.
Bronx shoes that i got yesterday. -50% made them affordable. i just finally wanted shoes like this...short heel. easy walking for lazy days, after work... anyway these are full of detail, not my usual cup of tea.
when i use cab (for work) and they send me one of these minivans, i always feel embarrassed. it doesnt matter one bit, for them or me, if the car is big or small, but sitting there alone is ooooodd. a bit much for me.
i was at the doctors today, got a nasal spray to ease my almost every day allergy issue. going to sleep early now. work tomorrow. so nothing new. again, im lucky to like my work. i remember when it was painful to think of working the next day.

It's always interested me that whenever you post a photo of yrself with new clothes or a new haircut, you take great pains to crop yr face out of the picture.
So on one hand, you want us (the anonymous millions who follow yr blog avidly) to see how you've chosen to present yourself - on the other, you want that presentation to be somehow anonymous. Were you a shop-window dummy in a former life, perhaps? ;)
Not a criticism, just an observation of something I've noticed since I started reading yr blog. :)
hey Jim,
its not hard at all, in fact the subject (dress, hair...) gets a lot more space and attention when i dont need to fit a face in.
as u said u noticed this from the very beginning, as it was my chosen way to go since the beginning. my face is not a secret at all, but i dont want this blog to be about my face. whether people like it or not, should not affect the reading, if indeed they want to read.
i think its also cos ive come a bit allergic to the face-whoring ive seen so much on the internet, and ive downgraded myself to it as well in the past when i was younger.
i just dont need the attention and possibly even comments on my looks, i would like the contents of the blog to get full attention.
All of these are valid reasons. The last two, when I think of them, shd have been obvious to me - as a woman, especially a young one, those must be problems for you (and indeed all young women) who want their public spaces (be they blogs, galleries, etc.) to be evaluated solely on their content. It's interesting to me that as a man, those reasons never even occurred to me.
