u are what u eat

i watched an episode of 30 Days where a hunter spends that time with a vegetarian activist family. he went to see farm animals and animals shelters etc. and came to the same conclusion as me. not vegetarian, but that animals shouldnt need to suffer for us. if they live a 'free', good life, and are killed in a humane way, i am very willing to eat it. our teeth have evolved very suitable for meat eating.

treating animals like they deserve would make meat products more expensive of course, but id be willing to pay that. if that caused us to buy less meat, well poor us? theres plenty of other stuff, that was always obvious for me, i guess cos im not a big cook. but a little protest is a good motive too.

i have a thing with eating raw onion, i love it. but the taste of onion in your mouth, that lasts for hours, is not that pleasant. i cant figure what would neutralize it. and i probably wouldnt have it anyway.

Totally agree on the eating meat. If the animals are treated right then there's no need to stop eating them (they are so tasty) but other wise it is really cruel and I'd rather not be part of that cycle.

On the onion thing, I'd guess fresh parsley or lemon (well, it's supposed to get rid of the smell from your hands at least).
