needles and pins

so that was friday. the swedish body mod guy came and we did a few shoots and hell come back tomorrow at 10am for a few more :)

he's over 2m tall, i really feel like a midget in front of him. but hes a very kind giant, super nice and cool. we got on really well. it just made me wonder how come the people i meet through photography are so much easier to get along with than others...in comparison.

anyhow we sew some buttons on him (he brought a white collared shirt but who wants a shirt on a guy? yea, i figured collar and buttons are enough), did some grilling with his arm and so forth... and i got to use a stapler gun for the first time in my life!! yay. im not a sadist, at all, but i might have an easier attitude towards these things. people who can and will bare pain are doing it out of their own will (and we are dealing with sane people now, not the insane ones...), being there co-operating with it does not mean you specifically want to cause pain. its just a 'job'. and, blood is just fuel.













someone on dA (one of the few) asked me why no new photos lately. as usual i said "no inspiration" which is the truth. for once someone made me smile; he replied:

hunt rats with forks. You'll think of amazing things while waiting, plus, putting yourself in an absurd situations tend to set your mind in a creative mode. (I personnally tried to pee, eyes blinded. It gave me my toilet serie idea)
try doing a lot of sports. It set the mind of everyday problems.

Mark and i are going to the ice hotel in Lapland in January for a couple nights. i want to sleep in a igloo, plus ive never been to lapland - bad Finn. i look forward to the dark and cold. not that i love them so much but they must be an experience, once taken to that level... and its very finnish, so :)
