had a fab day. i did spent most of it at airport/on plane and watched 2 movies during that, but from there on it was real cool. Carlos picked me up and weve been around the city, especially the old city and bar-area, where its really lively...people hanging out on the streets and all. the party only starts at about midnight which is...different but cool. we had geat discussions on economics, environment and religion, as he is a a biologist working actively in international environmental stuff, and a catholic. i am leaving to Estremoz in the morning but on my way back i hope to meet him again. and i think hed be great for my "foreign men" series... have to look into that. now i know which part of portugal im in, where im going, and EVERYTHING ELSE. cultural education seriously, Carlos has been great company.

this hostel is very posh and artsy and nice, ill come back here next week when im on my way back.
