Estremoz is a tiny city... but full of castles and other cool buildings. whats really cool tho is the people here, the artists and staff (also artists mostly). people from all over the world, gathered for photography. open minded and creative. young and old. some big egos too...

luckily the monastery is quite cool inside. our work/printing room is big with a balcony and view of the city. ive never seen this many mac laptops in one room!! everyone is with a laptop and chatting and surfing the web or working on photos... even tho the monastery is hundreds of yrs old, the wireless works great! in general portugese are more technologically advanced than i expected, i mean more so than some other european countries. many modern solutions...

i guess i like to talk with people who understand my stuff or try at least - obvious.

the local food is good. me happy.
