i see a mosque from the window

i slept until afternoon today. a bit of a day off. in a long line of days off i guess. went out to eat and look at some shops. that was it. Ibrahim (the doctor) is taking me to his friends for dinner tonight, looking forward to that. last night we went to taksim barhopping, met some of Ibrahim's friends too. there was a club where the music was interesting mix of dance/pop and turkish sounds. but i had fun dancing altogether.

im learning turkish one word at a time....= not very fast. i just want to be able to get by in shops and so...not going to write a thesis or anything.

and im trying to find a date for this week to spark things up. argh. hard. why???
