cosplay

i received my travel insurance card in the mail. i guess its nice to have, its as good as money in a few hospitals in istanbul, so if i break my leg etc...

also ive managed to sell some random items on the local 'eBay', small cash but good for food and whatnot. i had an old vinyl EP single that went for 23e...  jesus. got rid of my lava lamp too, i can get a new one when i move back if i want one...

i guess with some more hard word my place will look representable tomorrow. ive gotten halfway.

i installed turkish dictionary in my phone. its as close as behind one button. might come in handy. should install the map too.

Arttu has an idea for my laptop...:) :) it requires me to pull off some extra money but i think its worth it, i had started gathering pennies together anyway, its not like i was gonna find one free. so. this baby is an Acer, 17.3", 4GB, 320GB, Pentium T4400... and thats about all that i care. we'll see how this goes, but i think im excited! i wonder how i like her and what her name will be? TÜRKPUPU? we'll see what feels appropriate.

on saturday there is the 80s movie icon party and i have to decide who i am! oh no... someone suggested Rachael from Blade Runner but i think the fringe is a big part of the look and i dont have that. i wonder if they sell those separately at the carnival accessory store? i wouldnt want a full wig, since i DO have black hair. breakfast club's Allison was my first thought, but its a bit easy, isnt it? also BC characters are in the party invitation image....! but i cant think of anyone else.

after testing, my long hair wig with fringe would actually work pretty well...  the fringe needs cutting and styling, thats all. and clothes would not be a problem if i was Rachael.  i also tested a short blonde wig with fringe...but as i have concluded a million times before, blonde doesnt work with my skin and hair color...  i quickly tried some make up for fun. i think ironically, to cover my dark looks, i need to go with quite dark make up...

lol, the long black wig with fringe would be perfect Elvira. but i dont think i have the motivation to go all the way dressing like the character.

and who is she anyway? who the fuck had a blonde bob and lotsa eyeliner?? no one! note the desperate effort to lighten the eyebrows all the way to medium brown.

Rachael just needs to get her fringe styled. and some make up.
