one-way flight. booked.

after the shoot yesterday i have been so exhausted. i was feeling weirdly sick too, not just from flu, but i dunno what was wrong. i couldnt even eat cos i was feeling i might puke. yet i forced myself to go out for a couple drinks in the evening, with ex-colleagues from my previous job. i was so confused i walked to wrong exits from the subway and wasnt sure what i was ordering at the bar...  my brain was really freezing. i came home around 11 and altho my brain was seriously suffering, i couldnt fall asleep properly until 4am or so. it was pretty bad.

these large ads were at the subway station. F1 stuff. "the champions vs world's fastest Heikki" "the freezing cold ends in Bahrain" "the tanks have been filled again". so i gather a new F1 season is starting? and the marketing focuses on Heikki Kovalainen. which reminds me, in the middle east, when they heard i was from finland, the first comment was often abour driving; "so can u drive fast??". sure...  dont have a license but u bet i can drive - fast :D they are really into the F1 there and many had opinion on the personality of some finnish drivers. Häkkinen was largely liked, Räikkönen not so much. because he is so short worded and lacks emotion. i found this odd. im not so much into the personality of atheletes, as much as their style of competeting and other stuff.















yesterday  the shoot was at the ministry of the interior, and on arrival at the reception desk, there was this handy tool for wi-fi access. press the button if you want password (valid) for 4h, 8h or 2 days. the machine prints you a pass :)

i was shooting mostly foreigners yesterday, nice and interesting bunch of people mostly. from iran, iraq, armenia and so on. i was completely baffled wondering where armenia is. some areas are just a black hole in my mind.














before my last trip i got these books from the new book store nearby. they got political and critical, alternative stuff. the left is 'tea in kurdistan' by Kristiina Koivunen. ironically, i forgot both home when packing in a hurry. they were supposed to be my travel reading. oh well.

and i had a hairdresser appointment today. pretty much the same look as always, if not shorter. in lght there is always red tones showing through... that so weird...  its ALL BLACK i swear.  and i guess the next time ill get my hair cut it will be in istanbul? :o

i think im soon going back to bed. i still feel so weak and my head is blurry. but TOMORROW i will be active and go downtown, run some errands and whatnot. in the evening there is a housewarming party that im considering if i feel better by then, and someone is coming to see the flat in the late afternoon. i hope that i soon have this sub-rental thing set.

aaaand i just booked my one-way flight out of the country. Turkish Airlines on march 28th.
