19C today!!! woohoo!

yesterday i was fighting against the windmills to get a cable internet connection. got the process started with the help of Volkan, so thats a start. but if it takes too long, ill just get ADSL. besides that, i got my phone registration process started, bought some cleaning stuff for the flat (but didnt quite get to cleaning yet.... its not a big job anyway, just dust etc on the floor, its a 5yr old quite clean flat) and enjoyed good food and the warm weather.

today i think...errr, i was supposed to get some things done but its not looking good cos its almost 2pm and im still in Capa. takes an hour to get to Kadiköy and the german girls said theyd be back by 7, and they dont have a key... so my excuse to stay in Capa today is this. not a bad excuse is it? i just wanna go out maybe get some food... sit in the sun.

the mail brought me a book today... i was slightly surprised to see myself in the cover. i am sure i was asked for the permission and whatnot, but id forgotten all about it. its H.W.Lewis´Afterdeath, and Fantasio/Oliver Wetter from dA did the cover. the book also included an inscription for me, by Lewis; "To Jenni, through the creative talents of Oliver Wetter, your beautiful eyes; intense and haunting, have helped produce this unique and unusual work of art. It is the perfect visual representation intented for this book I extend my gratitude for your participation".

first things i bought for my home:

a petition that had to be FAXED to the cable company (Turksat)to hopefully get my building connected some day....

came across some kitties on the street, it was the window of a costume shop on my street

Eminönü pier after 7pm.

HOME! room with a view on the street;
home, 1st room
room on the other side of the building, the sun shines there in the morning apparently so i better set my bed in the other room...
home, 2nd room
bathroom (yea ill get a new shower curtain from IKEA)

forgot to take a photo of the kitchen, but well, its okay anyhow. the building janitor is also a doctor and has a practise in the floor above me. interesting double career. there is a zillion keys and a zillion locks, plus alarm systems, so i guess im safe in this house though. its a new building so it should be earthquake proof to. up to some Richters i guess...hmm.

i have been a little frustrated with how things work (or rather - dont work), seems like nothing is happening fast enough, not effectively enough...but this was to be expected so i just have to suck it up and breath. i should concentrate in enjoying my time rather than burning my fuse over a delay here or there.
