i bought a big mirror for the hallway today

the plummer just left. Volkan called one over because the toilet was not working properly, it was leaking water. the doctor said he might be able to fix it but i think its better to have a plummer to do their work and have the flat owner pay for that bill, since the problem was pre-existing...

damn it was hot today... i was out in my brand new tshirt and got sweaty actually. just thinking it is only april... i will be frying in a month. but it was so nice out in the sunshine... i had a glass of white wine while sitting on the Hera terrace (nice local cafe/bar). also i ordered a white thick curtain for the living room, the sun shines almost all day through that window i need something to control it a bit. they are going to do the curtain and attach the plastic things needed to hang it, and its about 13euros altogether.

the plummer scared a lizard out of my bathroom...jesus. im lucky i didnt find it. not that i mind, but it might have scared me badly. plus catching it and that... uh. i think i need to get used to animals, the more south you go, the more animals you will interact with. i told Volkan i think im not moving any more south than this... i draw the line *here*

i decided to take a day off from turkish cuisine and ate a Burger King whopper for lunch. at home i have been eating bread accompanied by salad, cucumber and tomato. yum.

the doctor said he is going to taksim tonight. why read for the sunday exam when u can go out and relax? yea, sure, i get it. i said i might go too.

the whole iceland volcano thing messing up european air traffic.... i dunno why but i am lolling. nobody could foresee this? could this go on for months? it would be disastrous...
