swedish meatballs
the german girls left on friday night, we drove them to the Sabiha Göckcen airport which is really fuckin far btw... on the other side of the city. anyway, got to see another part of the town.
today we drove to IKEA and i felt a little bit like home. thank you sweden, IKEA is your gift to scandinavian expats all over the world. i of course spent way too much money... although i only got the cheapest of everything, and didnt buy furniture besides 2 chairs and the classic LACK table.
it took i think almost 2 hours to drive to Kadiköy through the horrible traffic, but finally i recognized my home street and proudly introduced my flat to the doctor and his friend *whose name i already forgot sorry*. we cleaned the place a bit and i spread my few IKEA things around. i STILL dont have a mattress (the IKEA ones are not the cheapest) nor internet so i am staying with the doctor a couple more days. he is over there doing sit ups and other sporty things. i just sit and type away, drinking orange juice.
hmm, looks like a lot of red stuffs. also, i got a red curtain. and a rug in different shades of red.
tomorrow im planning to meet Kübra. maybe go to taksim.
