OMG it should be 27C today

yesterday i went to the job interview at the school near Erenköy. its not far at all from here but i managed to spend 1h 15 mins getting there... and was late. i didnt know the best route/method and just found myself a bus and things started going wrong from there. quickly 10 ppl in the bus were trying to solve where i should get off (which was nice of course), and once in agreement everyone was happy. its just that the trip took soooo long, i wasnt expecting it. and i did get off as close as possible, but it just wasnt so close to the destination after all. so i took a taxi and then there was the traffic...and so on.

its a prestige private school, nice place. school would start in september.

i came back with a minibus quickly in 15mins and went to do some shopping nearby. converse style sneakers, some skirts and shirts. altogether 20e i think. we had a bit of a relationship crisis with the doctor so he came over in the evening and we talked things through. one of the problems is that hes quite sporty, and likes walking -a LOT. and if i was telling this to my friends, i know they would be laughing now. jenni, walking? its a lollers-situation. but hey, im trying. i got a couple pairs of flat shoes now, ordered new sneakers from eBay... i think i can walk a bit if i just know in advance and am prepared for it. Istanbul is making me walk a lot anyway. in fact i have nothing against it, i just need some mental prepping. our first goal is 5km, ive agreed to it. and i am willing to go up to 10-15km in the long run, after training, but i think thats where i draw the line.

im anxiously waiting for Arttu to come over, bring me a couple finnish things, and to meet the doctor.
