5D arrived into our family. the package had a bottle of white wine included. i should assume it's what i paid 20e extra for... what? yes, i actually paid digital wonderworld 20e extra to get my camera. i didn't of course believe i'd get it even then but a 20e here or there wouldn't make much difference in the shit situation we were in. (ref. phone call [link])

they said they could send the body and lens separately if i paid 50e extra as they were out of the kits but conveniently had them separately, only for you today miss! i didn't agree to the 50e and eventually the crazy man offered 20e. i paid, and a couple weeks later they manage to send the cam. it's the kit package, they're not separate, but that doesn't surprise me. i guess i just had to pay for the wine and service. but i am honestly surprised the cam arrived, i hear(google) a lot of people lost their money with digital wonderworld's predecessor, NY camera. and really getting your money back from another country is not that easy. if the company goes bankruptcy, there is no way.

yea so should i just stop the whining? sorta, i have the cam and it's beautiful. but i would advise no one to ever buy from a company associated with Gerold Weinmann. google if in doubt.

i also know another guy who's bought a 5D from them. he asked for the delivery in germany, and he got it after paying 50euros extra ;) the lens (24-205mm L) had some problems (vignetting?) so he returned it. good luck getting the money back, Garry didn't agree to it so far. i wonder how that battle ends.

now, i need to go meet Alex and deliver the golf photos i took.
