these camera discussions are annoying. some ppl think they got it better off when they got a certain brand, but i believe they're all pretty much the same, it's a matter of a fuckin preference. the sensor and glass make the photo, and between Nikon and Canon for example, i think the differences are really small. so who cares which one u got... i think those who are inadequate in their shooting skill concentrate more on the debate about the technical shit and surround themselves with fancy equipment. it's nice to have the most expensive and state of the art lenses and bodies around you, but hey what about the photos? show me if you got some good ones!! haha. okay how did i get into this age old and obvious discussion... Kev and i were discussing how i feel a little uninspired lately. of course i've had some reasons to, i was travelling and haven't had a cam and all, but still, it's starting to worry me. he said not having a cam is the best excuse ever to be uninspired and starting to think about it, it has some truth in it. without a cam, i'm not even letting myself think of photos. when i close my eyes and imagine the body of 5D in front of me, i feel all warm and fuzzy inside. made me think how i almost sound like those tech freaks, but that's not the case. it's just an emotional bonding thing.


i am listening to Last.fm's recommendation radio and for some reason today it's trying to push me horrible black metal shit song after song. and i keep pushing the 'ban this track' button. now, those listening to this type of music go nuts when u categorize it wrong, like 'hey, Sonata Arctica is NOT black metal, what are you thinking woman!!', but it's all the same to me, and this is my blog, u get the idea :) surely, Stratovarious for example wasn't doing the zombiesh 'rrrrrr' sounds that the penguin masked bands do, but they were attempting some sorta guitar speed play record in the song i heard, along with some type of screaming (singing?)... i feel a bit bad being so harsh on finnish bands but i just can't like this type of music, and it's not even neutral, it gets on my nerves and gives me a headache. not funny.

i find it funny that Rammstein is a 'similar artist' to Slipknot and System of a Down and Marilyn Manson according to the last.fm system... i mean okay u got to have this 'similar artist' feature but it proves how special Rammstein is, these other bands sounds nowhere near like Rammstein i think. their sound is just way too special. lovely.

Last.fm is special as i think it did the same to music as Imdb did to movies and Wikipedia did to anything.













this is from last nights party. my bf got a new cam as he decided he wants to shoot long videoclips, and needs a wideangle to go with that. there was only one option; Panasonic/Leica. i'm not sure what to think of all the drunken videos of me, but this still photo is nice.
