jesus camp ....a must see movie i'm sure. " The film follows these children at camp as they hone their "prophetic gifts" and are schooled in how to "take back America for Christ." people are so not going for that, they like what christians describe as sin, way too much....:)

i read in a mag, in Paul Giamatti's interview, how his character in Sideways was a teacher, trying to hide his alcoholism behind a wine hobby. i saw the movie and liked it but totally failed to realize that he was an alcoholic. i was somewhat stunned to read this. but, it's not the first time i miss something obvious. i guess i just usually take things as they are, and don't even try to read into them.

since i have the rest of the week off, i should use it well. well means taking photos and tuning my computer.

while i appreciate that the makers of Jesus Camp let interviewees do all the talking, they were obviously selective about what they let into the final movie release...
