the other night i did not watch american haunting. on thursday tho, mnoo and me went to see miami vice. it was average-entertaining so i can't complain. colin farrel's 80's look is hilarious, it's sick but there's something likeable about it :S for someone who's not familiar with miami vice it might not offer anything, it's just a decent action movie, but for me, i remember Don Johnson in his 80's outfits, i had to see this one and i got no regrets. maybe i should get some miami vice episodes... there's something james bondish about it too. license to kill and girls.

on friday i had to do my nails and i had scheduled 2 shoots, 1 for me 1 for the money. and then i had to run to the company party. at which i got so drunk i puked when i got home and i barely remember the last hours of the evening. embarrassing perhaps but life is. i would say i had a pretty good time tho. the hangover was a killer but i think it was worth it anyway (so, this time i got one, there was no mistaking). i got up at noon and crawled to the bathroom where i managed to grab a towel to lay on. i laid there a couple hours, during which i also managed to crawl and get my phone and compact cam (for memories u know!). couldn't get my bathrobe tho. but so whether i was shaking from the hangover or cold...who cares. in the afternoon i got back to bed. despite a few attemps there was no way i could sit by the computer, that's probably the worst and meanest revenge of hangover. after 7 i finally got up. Tiitta and i had agreed to drink on saturday, my scheduling was a bit fucked, i hadn't realized the company party was the previous day. anyway so i then went to Tiitta and we had a pretty good time, i obviously took it easy with the drinking, i have no interest in spending sunday the same way i spent saturday... Tiitta has seen the Ramones live. i am not so much into gigs for some reason, i don't have a need to see bands live, but the Ramones would've been awesome. she also had a ticket to a G'n'R concert but by the time the concert happened, she didn't like em anymore and sold the ticket. lol. i can still listen to G'n'R, they were talented and it was well produced.

traiilerrrrssssss
azumi samurai-sword-fight-honor-asia-stuff. u know, riding the wave while it is still profitable. the trailer is action filled as i'm sure the movie will be too. and i assume the movie to be okay *shrugs*
the bridge. "MAY CONTAIN DISTURBING SUBJECT MATTER." bring it on!! it's a documentary about the Golden Gate bridge where people come to kill themselves :) i like the idea a lot but i don't think it's something that americans can handle too well. especially when they make it a big budget thing that they hope to attract the masses. it means they have to handle the subject with the kind of tender, naive voice, as if they're fuckin stupid, while they at the same time try to understand the subject and make it understood. and everyone fails i think. suicide is such a tabo, still. in the trailer, a woman says she asked a highway patrol officer "does this happen a lot??" and he'd say, "all the time". wow. i'm astounded by this piece of information, he just said people jump off the bridges all the time! now we oughta sit in quiet and think about this, how come it is that people actual jump off the golden gate bridge, 'all the time'. it's so sad when life ends. and how tragic it is when it ends in this way. what the fuck people, it really does happen all the fuckin time and if you want to jump a bridge is a great place so what do u expect dummies. try it yourselves. maybe the documentary gets more to the point than its trailer does, at least i really hope so. but no horror movie or violence warrants such a warning with capital letters...that's what's so twisted about americans.
mutual appreciation trailer doesn't keep my interest up. it's prolly one of those artsy smart movies that require concentration if u wanna get it, so don't watch it when you're on drugs. i think i'll skip it altogether.
49 up is a documentary that follows people and interviews them every 7 years. this is the episode where the interviewees are 49. i was first like year right whatever, but bothered to check the trailer cos it's directed by Michael Apted (who's directed a Bond movie, fyi) it seemed pretty interesting to be honest, people's behavior and traits seem to change very little. i think my bf especially might like this.
conversations with god. "...a movie about true love and inspiration". err. the trailer is average, a guy has problems in his life and then i guess finds a connection with god... or something. whatever.
al franken- god spoke. what's with the god stuff lately? this is another documentary... about a comedien, satirist al franken, who's putting all his efforts in fighting against the right wing. way to go. i will watch this.
little children seems really weird and interesting. it had me raisemy eye brows a bit. in the end it may be just an average drama about the lives of 30something parents who are bored and try to hang in there, with the kids and all... but the traiker was a little different. maybe they're just getting better at doing interesting trailers?
the rest of the trailers/movies seems shit and i will skip them.

btw, crank is a must see, jason statham is lovely. kind of hot, even. i'm certain that the flick is trustworthy action and the plot seems interesting enough too, and then u add his charisma and the role that he more less always plays...and yea, that's good shit!

so now, i will tune into sunday and how to enjoy it.
