its good that the subway cars have a u.s. flag on each of them, to clearly signal that you are in the united states. otherwise, it might confuse and think i was...in europe!

we got up closer to 4pm and went to the close by diner where i thought i could fit both pancakes and hamburger in me. i almost did. after that encounter i needed to catch my breath so we came back to the hotel and i almost fell asleep again. my bf wanted us to go to the roof terrace of the metrolpolitan museum, the view from there is apparently really nice, but i'm a really negative person, or just lazy, when it comes to sights. anyway finally we dragged ourselves out of bed and went to a pub in downtown near times square, where we hung out with his school buddy Brandi and her friends. they lived in queens and we went there later, they had 2 kitties and a bunny that loved to be pet! north americans are such wussies when it comes to drinking, a beer or two and their acting sooo drunk, like teenagers. i don't know how i should react to that, its like they're out drinking, but not really drinking but they behave as if they had been really drinking, umm, so i just had one Bailey's.
