F wanted to buy new (just picked) potatoes, and i gracefully agreed. Ive never cooked potatoes but how hard can it be, it just takes forever. But! It turns out i had to wash them first! Uh huh... Other than this unexpected surprise, cottage life is so-so. We dragged some blankets to the yard and i got to stare at the sky for a bit.
