planning, stage VII

i spent yesterday evening looking at flats in istanbul. with Kübra's word translations i manage quite well. and im no stranger to independent online translation either...  anyway, im sure i can find a decent option :)

i put a english/turkish teaching app on my iGoogle page and practised words with it. it felt funny.

im getting tad bit tired of the kebab jokes i hear from friends. but i suppose ill have to tolerate a little more, there will be more it is clear.

i just realized a new phone will be needed at some point. my baby nokia is starting to feel really old and has issues in some aspects. uh huh. and i understand technology is expensive in turkey. have to get creative. once again.

im gonna go for a beer tonight with a friend. then continue 'emptying' the apartment. im finding useless stuff that im throwing away in a black trash bag... i already filled one. and i need to clean up by friday when ive invited some friends over. i guess u could call it a party. turning 15, again. full 30. ill make some punch and miss R agreed to help with salad and some other people colunteered to bring food also :) but i need to make some space. then after that i continue cleaning/emptying and on the 25th i should move my stuff to storage.

the doctor said he would pick me up from the airport :) and we have a movie marathon planned. he is certain he could stay awake longer than me. and i admit i am not like when i was younger but i take the challenge anyway! we shall see who watches these movies through... need to book a weekend for the battle.

ive terminated my internet connection and made changes to my phone deal...  i should be able to register my phone in a shop in istanbul (its necessary for foreign phones if u plan to stay more than 3 months) and get a local plan. prepaid i guess. but they are priced by 'units', not minutes...doesnt make it simple to choose...  and once i have confirmed the address of the storage ill change my insurance accordingly. need to compare turkish banks next, which one has good online services...

what else....hmm. i will need another external harddrive if i get the laptop. and i need to forward my mail at least for some months i think.
