a bit tough

okay, so the day is beautiful, 21C or so, but its just as stressful as yesterday. i wasnt even surprised when i got a call from the internet operator, in turkish. its become a daily ritual, happens some time after calling the call center. which i just did again... this time i didnt even give my number (and no, they dont have any records of anything, so everyday i am a new customer with a new problem), only the doctors. but we'll see if anything happens... this is getting really pathetic.

my tenant in Helsinki paid late last month and now she informed me that her payment this month will be even more late, depending on when social services pay her or something. jesus fuck. this is not going well. i need to pay it forward after all, to the flat owner.

at least my training for the job finished... so i could start working pretty soon. also they are helping me to get the residency and work permit issues solved. but things are quite vague, round here in general. i have no idea if i might have work at the end of this week already, or the next, or the one after that... ill find out in time.

whats interesting is that possibly because of the walking i need to do in this city, ive lost some weight. i just noticed some clothes are getting loose. i need to buy new jeans if this goes on.

one of the interesting things ive noticed in the mornings is that shops open quite late, often after 9 or 10. and fast food places open before they can even produce anything....so u walk in, and walk out - with empty hands... and this concerns McDonald's too... weird local habit. dont open the doors if u cant give me food dammit!
