time? strange concept
today was just not my day... it was very turkish with randomly changing and uncertain schedules and i was tired and my nerves suffered. i am often nowadays able to be flexible and go with the flow, but not today. i was able to get a haircut though, 10e, very nice hairdresser guy called Izmo. short for Ismael i think?
the front doors of buildings here have the keyhole often at the knee level. well, luckily i dont have back problems. and the keyholes (2) in my door are so close to the frame that its almost impossible to turn the keys without injuring my knuckles. and yeah, they require a lot of turning. i dont know if its american or middle eastern engineering but the locking systems are really retarded. no offense.
next, i am getting tired of the wet bathroom after having shower. the floor didnt need to be very slanted for the water to find its way to the drain but is it so? no. havent seen such implementation so far round here. as a solution people have these rubber sandals in bathrooms, that u wear when in the bathroom. creative.
and the water tube going from my washing machine to the large gaping hole in my extra room's wall, now that it isnt professionally blocked (...) with a plastic bag anymore, causes the sewer smell to fill my apartment unless i keep windows open. which id rather not do 24/7. yeah when it gets to 35C im sure i will, but right now i still dont have mosquito nets in my windows (which is surprisingly hard to find considering EVERYONE needs it) and the nights can be cold too.
all this is 'turkey', which i myself chose, yeah, but i think i am allowed to complain every now and then?
and my internet connection, lol. lets not even get there. the operator (TTnet) call center is friendly but really clueless, and sometimes they forward the call to technical service, as they promise, and they call me in turkish and end up hanging up. and so on.
hehe, that game on saturday... Fenerbahce clearly won cos when i left to taksim the streets were full of cheering fans in their yellow/blue shirts...and the ferry i took was full, bouncing under the dance and partying, not to mention the singing provided quite a concert experience.
