midsummer 2010

so Ali, a friend of Ege's is arranging a houseparty in Bostanci tonight. i take some of the credit for talking him into it. he has some experience from them from his time living in the states. i promised to make the punch and so i will. Marja is not in a party mood so she might stay home, and Tiitta with her, but i am definitely going to have a good time, and the doctor should be coming as well.

i had plans of taking the girls to a village nearby Istanbul for saturday/sunday with the doctor, but they are really into the museums and other sights i guess we should stay in the city instead. the girls can go to see those things and i will sleep late and enjoy the weekend...

today we had lunch in a nearby restaurant that has great gözleme (salty pancake with filling), and i just had to have a tiramisu dessert to top it off as we were waiting for the raining to end. the restaurant brought Tiitta and Marja some fruits and sweet stuff on the house, this is the kind of things i love in turkey...
