today (and this week), my work entails figuring out categories of home furniture, appliances and renovation products. i am currently wondering if humidifiers go under "air conditioners" or are they a category of their own... i am sure wikipedia or some e-shop will answer my question... when it comes to categorizing stuff though, i have again been reminded of how little i know about household appliances. in finnish AND english. like the thing used to grind coffee beans... it is very important to find the exact right term for these things, as well as any popular synonyms. suddenly the differences between cooktops, stoves and ovens and cook ranges are very confusing, google's image search proves that the words are occasionally overlapping,at least in peoples minds...

anyway, i am feeling quite content. this is okay work according to me. if i compare this to ... i dunno, what else can i do? lol. customer service & sales for example. i like this better. the website stuff and management project last month was even more satisfying though, however there was a stress element also. pros & cons. creating new stuff and learning is something i prefer to keep myself interested.

i read in the news today that Angelina Jolie is thinking of coming to the Turkish Syrian border to meet with Syrian refugees there. if it draws more attention to the topic, i am happy. there are apparently 8000+ Syrians already and counting...
