"life in the UK"

doctors citiznship application was finally processed and now he just needs to go to the ceremony to make it official and then he can apply for a passport. and then, finally, traveling will be a bit easier. ok a lot.

inspired by this, i figured maybe i should do the Life in the UK test, and then i'd have it ready for when i want to apply, as it doesnt expire. so right now the working assumption is that i want to apply. citizenship application itself is expensive so i find it hard to justify, but im also risk averse and think it might come to use one day. and, since we seem to be staying for the foreseeable future, i think it could help me in growing roots here in a way. 

now Life in the UK test though... it's worth its reputation. a multiple choice test that those born here would struggle with just as well. here are some of my favourites, i have no idea of the right answer;
