week is starting...starting...

today, visiting the shop again which is always closed, Volkan and me actually found it open! the shelf i wanted was 12e and the guy promised to carry it to my place in the evening without any extra cost. he just delivered it after 9 and even gave me some 'weird' photo with it...? its nice though, i shall put it on my wall.

i also got a Clockwork Orange poster (2,5e). i figured i need something for the walls...

also i got a table for 10e and yet another rug (120x190)....6e from the grocery store, which is always selling some random things, from pillowcases to socks... the items change almost daily.

i got an email saying my preparing course to start my job is starting this wednesday, 10am sharp! aaaaaaaaahhh, fuck. scary. but good.

i am slowly getting used to the relaxed lifestyle here. at least today i did. we had a coffee with Volkan....then went around to look at shops, stopped over to a cafe nearby which is small and all the customers are friends of each other... i dont see how that can work (profitability??) but in this part of the world it does i guess. anyhow, the owner invited us in, he was there having red wine with some friends and we sat down and had a glass too. there was a 3-legged kitty on of the chairs, it is a resident of this cafe.. many of the street animals actually have a cafe or shop where they hang out at, get fed at and so on. also many of the animals are well known by the locals, Volkan reported to me about the status of one dog's life for instance. the dogs are registered and neutered. anyway, at the cafe, a black kitty walked in and jumped on my lap, begging for petting. she was not much of a photo model though.

the shelf. in bad condition (seems a bit rotten at the top) but oh well. matches my curtains (white and red)

the photo that came with the shelf... someone has really seen trouble to make it ready for hanging and i think there is a layer of varnish on top or something. i like the image a lot.

the rug from the grocery store. fit my bedroom.

at the cafe.

these kitties seem to be waiting for their afternoon coffee.

the infamous scarf shop. they are selling cushions too, it seems. and whats underneath there... a kitty of course.

some turkish fans of my photography have written to me in FB and thats a nice way to find new contacts and friends too so im pleased.

i was reading the news. a popular spanish bullfighter was injured in mexico, during a bullfight naturally. why dont i feel any pity? quite the opposite. thats what u get for teasing animals. find another fuckin sport that doesnt violate others. fight with someone who is willing to fight with you.

oooh, more shitty news. Tito Ortiz has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. Jenna Jameson, mother of their twins, apparently had visible injuries when the police came for Tito.

Hi. Still following you. ;) Kitty was cute, perfectly photogenic! And the red & white shelves remind me of your resemblance to Meg White.

Just had a great time in medieval towns in mid-Czech Republic, more pics on Flickr soon (given up dA, but still following you there, just in case). ;)
