last supper

soooo another lockdown starting tomorrow. not surprising really, as they say, the numbers are worse than in the worst case scenarios (made at the end of summer). i am quite worried about the companies and people surviving this first, and then no deal brexit - its just not great. in anticipation of the lockdown, we had a lunch outside at the local pub on saturday as i thought it might start monday. i also did some shopping in Brixton. but then it was announced to start on thursday and im pretty desperately trying to enjoy myself until the last minute. we had dinner out yesterday, and meeting friends to dine out again tonight. i was also due some blood tests to make sure im all healthy so i popped in the hospital today to get the bloods taken. last month i went to the dentist too. so ive been out and about... all the stuff i did during the past 4 months, i think i'm okay to stay indoors again. i think Lockdown II  will be hardest on those who dutifully stayed home even in the summer and barely did anything. but of course it was smart to stay in, especially for high risk individuals. so they have my empathy. 

US election is nerve wrecking. bloody hell. the world is such a messy place right now.
